On April 30, 2010, the opening ceremony of Shanghai World Expo was grandly opened on the Huangpu River. HJC Water Fountain and the world's creative design team, ECA2 France, joined hands to create an extremely gorgeous and spectacular multimedia water show performance at the main venue of the opening ceremony, showing the rise of a great nation.

The opening fountain show of Shanghai World Expo 2010 consisted of four movable water show devices equipped with fountains, lights, lasers, fireworks, jets and images, using gorgeous lights, marvelous devices, flowing fountains, brilliant fireworks and multimedia and other comprehensive elements, constituting a grand celebration of "five continents celebrating together, four seas rejoicing together".
